I got my first taste of Photoshop in probably 2002 or 2003. I would use my dad's computer to design my band's merch & show flyers to save us all some cash. Eventually other bands and promoters that I worked with caught wind of my work and reached out for their own projects. Word of mouth quickly came into play, and around 2010 I finally gained the confidence to pursue design professionally. I always played the 'fake it 'til you make it' card and accepted any level of work that was thrown at me as an excuse to learn. This experience forced me to practice basic HTML to code MySpace layouts, understand how the screenprinting process works to create proper apparel files, and so on.

Fast forward to today. I've learned an incredible amount about design, organization, time management and the field as a whole in the last 15+ years. However, I still refuse to change the hungry work ethic I started with. I refuse to turn down a project solely because the ask is new to me or outside of a specific genre. It's not strange for me to have projects for a death metal band, a wedding, and a real estate agent in the same day. I pride myself on always keeping my work fresh & varied. I wouldn't have it any other way. No one ever said a jack of all trades was a bad thing. Not to me at least.
